Fresh Homemade Salsa

Fresh Homemade Salsa

Who doesn’t love fresh, juicy, hand-chopped salsa? To us, that’s the best way to eat it: chopped, sliced, squeezed, all the in-between. However, sometimes it’s just hard to nail down that perfect combination of ingredients that’s both delicious and easy. We hope that after you try our recipe of Fresh Homemade Salsa, it becomes ‘The One” : The one dish that just kinda hits the spot and becomes your go-to time and time again.

Recipe

Ingredients

2 ripe tomatoes, diced small
1/2 white onion, diced small
1 green jalepeno, diced small
2 Tbsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped
2 Tbsp fresh lemon or lime juice
1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp minced garlic
sea salt & fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, toss everything together. Be sure to dice very small, as the salsa is much easier to eat in smaller bites! Sprinkle desired amount of sea salt & black pepper on at the end.
  • Let the fresh, homemade salsa sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving. Enjoy with chips or in a taco!
