Family-Favorite Skillet Cookies

Family-Favorite Skillet Cookies

Have you ever tasted heaven in your mouth? This recipe is probably the closest you’ll find. It really just can’t be beat. The simplicity of the ingredients and the cold & hot combination somehow breaks the boundaries of flavor in this family-favorite dish. If you think I’m exaggerating, then you haven’t tried it. :-)

Our family has loved this recipe since we were little…whenever we saw mom pulling aluminum foil pans out of the oven, we knew we were in for a treat! You can use small aluminum foil pans or you can be more sophisticated and use a big skillet. See the ingredients and instructions below:

Ingredients

Homestead’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (Customer Freezer!)
Hot fudge
Vanilla Ice Cream
Cool Whip
Maraschino Cherry (Optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350. Press the dough into mini aluminum pie pans (available here at the Homestead) and bake them until centers are done (please don’t overbake!) When you take them out of the oven, scoop Vanilla Ice Cream on, drizzle with hot fudge, and top with cool whip. This is a Bahler Family favorite!

If you try this recipe, we’d love to hear how it turned out for you and what you think of it! Let us know in the comments below!
