You can imagine my expression when I glanced up through the Homestead kitchen window to see the familiar face of a friend I haven’t seen in 15 years! I instantly recognized Gina, and her now grown daughter (and darling grandson!) standing in front of me! Gina and I worked together at the Women’s Clinic in Lafayette- both nurses for Dr. Sara Strickler, and have many wonderful memories of much fun together. It was fun to catch up in a nutshell, and see that she is doing very well. We just never know who may walk through our doors…it’s a new blessing every day!
