Come on back to our kitchen.

Our kitchen comes alive at 2 o’clock in the morning to provide you with the most fresh, savory bread you’ve ever tasted. Come 8 o’clock, and it’s likely that a batch of milk chocolate chip cookies are emerging from the oven, filling the Homestead with their familiar warm aroma. Our bakers work hard to ensure that each loaf, each scone, each roll, is perfectly baked and ready for you to enjoy. We hope you have the opportunity to experience for yourself the quality that our customers have come to expect from our kitchen!

Dawn grew up in DeMotte, Indiana with her parents and siblings, and now has four children- Gwen, Justin, Melissa, and Derek- and fifteen grandchildren of her own!

Grace, a native of Rensselaer, Indiana, grew up playing with her siblings. She has fond memories of playing baby dolls, or ‘house’, and school. She also spent a lot of time in 4-H…

Connie grew up in Remington. She graduated from Tri-County in 1982 and during that time worked in the fields for Dekalb and mowed yards. She has since worked in a small-town restaurant as part-time
